The name reads like a brush-off — maybe later — but the discography says the opposite. Mayb. L8ter has been showing up, year after year, since 2020. He is the kind of independent artist the streaming era rarely rewards but always needs: consistent, self-releasing, and in it for the long haul.
Operating out of Central Texas under his own banner, Overluuk'D Entertainment, Mayb. L8ter has built a catalog the slow way — one single, one project, one feature at a time. No viral shortcut, just a steady body of work that keeps growing.
A Real Catalog, Built Year Over Year
This is not a one-song artist. Since his debut run he has put out a string of singles and full projects, including the albums "Quit Playing Games 2" and "Dynamic Duo" (2021), the seven-track "Retro Grade" (2024), and the "The Supply Drop" EP (2026). Along the way came singles like "Making a Pick," "Stupid Mistakes," "Dream 2.0," and "Dance With Me."
He builds with a circle, too. His records pull in collaborators like S.J., Bad Azz Derrelle, Smoove Royal, iSee Platinum, and IDK Armani — the mark of an artist embedded in a working scene rather than running solo.
Independent on Purpose
Releasing under your own label for six years is a statement. Mayb. L8ter owns his rollout, his catalog, and his pace — the definition of the independent grind Rhythm & Rise Live exists to spotlight. The "maybe later" wink in the name is the joke; the receipts are the point.
Why Rhythm & Rise Live
Rhythm & Rise Live was built for artists like Mayb. L8ter — independent, self-made, and grinding without a major-label safety net. The 12-hour live event puts 36 of Austin's R&B and Hip-Hop artists on one unified stage and streams it free to the world from a private production studio in Austin. No paywall. No ticket. Just the music, the platform, and the people who built it.
For an artist who has quietly stacked a six-year catalog, it is a chance to put that consistency in front of a brand-new room. The mission of the event is the same as the mission of the music — elevate independent voices, honor the craft, build something that lasts.
